Wash your hands before removing or inserting jewelry. A hinged ring has a small built-in hinge that clicks open and shut. To remove it, gently pull the segment up until it swings open, then slide the ring out of your piercing. To put it back in, guide the ring through your piercing and click the hinged segment closed until it snaps securely in place.
