Healing Your Tragus Piercing

Since the tragus is made of cartilage, it heals more slowly than earlobes. With proper care, though, you can expect a smooth healing journey.

Healing Time – Typically 6–12 months (sometimes longer).
Normal Healing Signs –
- Mild swelling, redness, or tenderness in the first few days.
- A bit of clear or whitish discharge that may form a crust (a natural healing fluid).

Aftercare Essentials

Clean Twice Daily – Use a sterile saline solution. Mist, then let air dry.
